Vogel is a mid-sized ski area above Lake Bohinj inside Triglav National Park, reached from the valley floor at Ukanc by a genuine reversible cable car (the 'Nihalka', rebuilt in 2001) rather than a gondola. About 22 km of piste sits between the cable car's upper station and a summit lift point around 1,800 m.

The resort relies entirely on natural snow — no snowmaking is installed, a direct consequence of its national-park location — which makes early- and late-season conditions more variable than at resorts with snowmaking.

True cable cars (aerial tramways)

Gondolas and chairlifts are listed above under Notable lifts. These are specifically two-station reversible aerial tramways — a distinct lift type.

Wikipedia states 2003; conflicts with 2001 given by the official operator and independent press. 2001 treated as the better-supported figure.

What the sources say

Every note below is drawn from the resort's own or an independent official publication.

Lift count is disputed between sources (8 vs. 9, depending on whether a children's magic carpet is counted) and left null.
No dedicated official snow-report URL was found — conditions are shown on the operator's live-camera/winter pages.
No official single resort-centroid coordinate is published — the entity location uses the geocoded cable car valley station at Ukanc.
