Niseko United is the collective name and shared lift pass for four adjoining ski areas on Mt. Annupuri in Hokkaido — Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri. It has one of Japan's largest and longest-established international visitor bases, with Australian tourism specifically documented as a major driver of growth since around 2000. Terrain sits mostly below the treeline with views of the Yotei volcano.

What the sources say
Every note below is drawn from the resort's own or an independent official publication.
No true reversible cable car exists — all named lifts across the four linked sectors are continuously-circulating gondolas.
Difficulty split maps to a single "difficult" (red+black combined) 10.2 km category in the source data — piste_km_red and piste_km_black both left null rather than split arbitrarily.
Combined skiable area for all four zones together could not be verified to two sources; only Grand Hirafu's own sector figure is confirmed.
