Hakuba Valley is a marketing and lift-pass umbrella covering 10 independently operated resorts — Happo-One, Goryu, Hakuba47, Iwatake, Cortina, Norikura, Tsugaike, Sanosaka, Jigatake and Kashimayari — in northwestern Nagano at the base of the Northern Japan Alps. It hosted Alpine, ski jump and cross-country events for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

What the sources say

Every note below is drawn from the resort's own or an independent official publication.

This is a combined 10-resort entity under one pass, not a single ski area — figures reflect the whole valley, not any single sub-resort.
Combined-valley figures (94 lifts, 2,301 acres, 750-1,831 m) come from a single reachable source; could not be cross-verified against a second source this session — flagged as lower confidence.
Piste-km by difficulty deliberately left null to avoid overstating shared/duplicate runs across the 10 sub-resorts.
Only 2 of the 10 sub-resorts' lift names could be verified — the rest are not listed rather than guessed.
