Oberstdorf's ski terrain is split between the Nebelhorn sector (steeper, higher, 12.9 km of piste) and the cross-border Fellhorn/Kanzelwand sector shared with Austria's Kleinwalsertal (37 km, wider and more beginner-friendly). No single verifiable combined piste-km figure covers just these two sectors — a widely cited 130 km figure covers the full Oberstdorf–Kleinwalsertal lift-pass area, including sectors outside this resort's own terrain.
The historic Nebelhornbahn main line was rebuilt as a gondola in 2021, but a true reversible tramway survives on the final summit pitch (the 1991 Nebelhorn-Gipfelbahn, which mainly serves sightseers rather than graded piste) and, summer-only, as the original 1972 Fellhornbahn I.
True cable cars (aerial tramways)
Gondolas and chairlifts are listed above under Notable lifts. These are specifically two-station reversible aerial tramways — a distinct lift type.

No single verifiable combined piste-km figure covers just the Nebelhorn and Fellhorn-Kanzelwand sectors — the commonly cited 130 km/48-lift figure is for the full Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal lift-pass area, including Austrian sectors outside this resort's own terrain, so it was not used as this resort's total.
No true reversible cable car currently carries descending skiers in winter here: the main Nebelhornbahn was rebuilt as a gondola in 2021, the Nebelhorn-Gipfelbahn mainly serves summit sightseers, and the original 1972 Fellhornbahn I now runs summer-only.
A direct tourism-office phone/email for Oberstdorf specifically could not be confirmed to a two-source standard and was left blank.
