Mayrhofen sits at the head of the Zillertal and anchors the Mountopolis lift network across Penken, Ahorn, Rastkogel and Eggalm. It combines one of Austria's largest true cable cars (the 160-passenger Ahornbahn) with the world's first curved 3S tricable gondola (Penkenbahn), and is well known among experts for the Harakiri, Austria's steepest groomed piste at a 78% gradient.

What the sources say

Every note below is drawn from the resort's own or an independent official publication.

Piste/lift figures (142 km, 61 lifts) come from the official site, skiresort.com and bergfex.com in agreement; a lower Wikipedia figure (157 km/48 lifts) was not used.
A second possible cable car near the adjacent Tux/Hintertux area could not be confirmed as part of Mayrhofen's own network and was excluded pending clarification.
Red/black piste split not separately published (32 km combined "difficult") — left null.
