Was die Quellen sagen

Jeder Hinweis unten stammt aus einer offiziellen Veröffentlichung des Skigebiets oder einer unabhängigen Quelle.

This entry covers the Corviglia ski mountain specifically, which is St. Moritz's own on-site sports mountain, operated by Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG (mountains.ch). 'St. Moritz skiing' colloquially can also include the wider Engadin St. Moritz lift network (Corvatsch-Furtschellas, Diavolezza-Lagalb), which are separate, unconnected ski areas reached by ski bus/car, not covered here.
piste_km_total (155 km) and the blue/red/black breakdown (42/79/34 km, summing exactly to 155) come directly from Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG's own official press/media kit PDF ('38 Pisten, 155 Abfahrtskilometer - davon 42 km blaue, 79 km rote und 34 km schwarze Pisten'), and match the figures given on stmoritz.com. This is a high-confidence, internally consistent official figure.
Lift count: the operator's own press kit states 22 mountain-railway installations ('22 Bergbahnanlagen'), while several independent aggregators (e.g. skiresort.info-family sites) cite 24. Used the operator's own figure (22).
Village/base altitude has three slightly different published figures: Wikipedia's infobox gives St. Moritz as 1,822 m; the St. Moritz-Corviglia funicular's own valley station is listed (Wikipedia) at 1,848 m; and stmoritz.com's own homepage tagline reads 'Lifestyle at 1,856 m above sea level'. These are close but not identical - used the Wikipedia town-elevation figure (1,822 m) as altitude_base_m and note the ~30 m spread across sources.
Summit altitude (Piz Nair, 3,057 m) was consistent across the operator's own site content and independent sources, so treated as solid.
The St. Moritz Dorf–Chantarella–Corviglia funicular was reported closed for extensive maintenance during summer 2026, with Marguns (gondola) and Signal (cable car) cited as alternative winter-season access routes; this does not affect the lift's status for the current ski season but is noted for currency.
Capacity for the Signal cable car was not found in sources checked and is left null.
Olympia Bob Run and the Ludains ice rink are Engadin/St. Moritz-wide facilities rather than lifts on the Corviglia ski mountain itself; included because they are verifiable, resort-level amenities associated with St. Moritz-Corviglia as a destination.
Corvatsch and Furtschellas are separate ski sectors in the wider Engadin St. Moritz Mountains network and were excluded from the lift list to keep it specific to Corviglia.
